Six Flags Over Texas, known as the “Thrill Capital of Texas,” has announced several new attractions and enhancements for the upcoming 2024 season. This year, the park is set to introduce a brand new ride, “Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce,” and welcome back the beloved “Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters” to the Bugs Bunny Boomtown section by Memorial Day weekend. Later in the summer, guests will experience the reimagined “Dino Off Road Adventure,” breathing new life into the classic Chaparral Antique Cars ride.
Batman and Mr. Freeze New Queue Theming
The park is also rolling out new theming elements in the queues for the adrenaline-pumping BATMAN™: The Ride and the chilling MR. FREEZE™, alongside constructing a permanent home for the popular Boomtown Bar.
Sylvester, Tweety, Daffy Duck, and Dinosaurs
Sylvester and Tweety Pounce and Bounce is set to dazzle families as a Zamperla Sky Tower attraction. This family-friendly drop tower will lift riders 41 feet into the air, only to send them on a sequence of “bounces” and “pounces.”
Making a splashy return after a three-year hiatus, Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters is a spinning ride that lets riders engage in playful water battles, adding a refreshing twist to the excitement.
Later in the season, the park will unveil the Dino Off Road Adventure, transforming the park’s second-oldest attraction with brand new cars, an updated queue, and an array of 13 dinosaur animatronics along the route, making for a unique journey back in time. The ride will resemble Dino Off Road Adventure at Six Flags New England.
