Universal Epic Universe, the fourth theme park in the Universal Orlando Resort family, opens its gates on May 22, 2025. With more than 50 incredible experiences spread across five themed worlds, Epic Universe promises to be Universal’s most ambitious theme park yet. For those wanting to experience Epic Universe, Universal has launched a variety of ticket options and packages. Let’s break down everything you need to know about visiting Epic Universe.
Single-Day Ticket Options
Starting June 1, 2025, guests can purchase single-day tickets to Epic Universe. These tickets start at $139, though prices vary based on the time of year:
- Off-peak weekdays (primarily early September): Tickets start at $139
- Summer months (June, July, August): Prices typically range from $164-$189, averaging around $175
- Holiday seasons: Prices can reach up to $199
Universal uses dynamic pricing for its tickets, meaning prices fluctuate based on expected crowd levels, day of the week, and seasonal demand. Weekends and holidays generally command higher prices than weekdays and off-peak periods.
Multi-Day Ticket Options
For those wanting to experience more of what Universal Orlando has to offer, several multi-day ticket options include access to Epic Universe. The prices range from $126 – $156 a day and more during peak days:
2-Day Tickets
- 1-Park 1-Day Base, Plus 1-Day Epic Universe Ticket: One day at either Universal Studios Florida OR Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one day at Epic Universe
- 2-Park, 1-Day Park-to-Park, Plus 1-Day Epic Universe Ticket: One day with access to both Universal Studios Florida AND Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one day at Epic Universe

3-Day Florida Resident Tickets:
- 2-Park, 2-Day Florida Resident, Plus 1-Day Epic Universe: Two days at Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one day at Epic Universe
- 2-Park, 2-Day Park-to-Park Florida Resident, Plus 1-Day Epic Universe: Two days with park-to-park access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one day at Epic Universe
- 3-Park, 2-Day Park-to-Park Florida Resident, Plus 1-Day Epic Universe: Includes two days with access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Volcano Bay, plus one day at Epic Universe
Florida residents can also purchase special vacation packages that bundle hotel stays with park tickets for additional savings.
Military Freedom Pass Add-On
Active duty and retired U.S. military members with an active 2025 Military Freedom Pass can purchase a 1-Park, 1-Day Epic Universe Ticket as an add-on to their pass through their Universal Orlando account.
Ticket Flexibility and Planning
When purchasing multi-day tickets that include Epic Universe, guests don’t need to specify which day they’ll visit the new park in advance. Tickets only require selecting the first valid date, and guests can visit any of the parks beginning on that date.
If plans change, visitors can modify their ticket dates through the self-service tool on Universal’s website. Keep in mind that if the new date has a higher price, guests will need to pay the difference.
The Five Worlds of Epic Universe
Epic Universe is divided into five distinct and immersive themed worlds:
- Celestial Park: The heart of Epic Universe serves as the gateway to the other realms. This area features lush gardens, stunning water features, and the thrilling Starfall Racers rollercoaster.
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic: Step into magical 1920s Paris and the British Ministry of Magic, expanding the already popular Harry Potter experiences at Universal.
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD: Enter the vibrant worlds of Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach, with interactive environments and attractions based on the beloved video game characters.
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk: Soar alongside dragons and join Viking adventures in a land inspired by the popular film franchise.
- Dark Universe: Experience a shadowy realm featuring Universal’s classic monsters in an immersive environment.
Additional Services and Benefits
Several additional products and services for Epic Universe will launch by opening day:
- Universal Express Passes: Skip-the-line privileges for select attractions
- VIP Tours: Guided experiences with priority access
- My Universal Photo: Photo packages that include Epic Universe
- Early Park Admission: Available from May 23, 2025 onward for guests of Universal hotels and select ticket holders
Transportation and Accommodations
Universal will provide complimentary shuttle bus transportation between Epic Universe and Universal’s existing theme parks and CityWalk entertainment complex.
The Universal Helios Grand Hotel, opening alongside Epic Universe on May 22, 2025, features a dedicated entrance directly into the park for hotel guests with valid admission. There are also two other hotels on the property.
Other nearby accommodations include Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort, opening March 25, 2025.
