Area15 in Las Vegas has quickly become known for its immersive entertainment and unique artistic experiences. Fitting perfectly into that mold is Wink World: Portals Into the Infinite, a multisensory art concept by one of the founders of the Blue Man Group.
It’s not easy to describe the uniqueness of Wink World. Here’s how the founder, Chris Wink, describes it:
The “psychedelic” Portals Into the Infinite takes place in six infinity mirror rooms. The experience takes up 1,500 square feet. Each room has its own production, theme, music, and effects. Wink uses a plethora of black lights, kinetic art, children’s toys, spheres, colors, and mirrors.
Wink used his background as a cofounding director, writer, composer, and performer of the Blue Man Group to create a unique experience. He calls the experience, “a manifestation of my lifelong fascination with the transcendent power of the playful interaction of light, color and music.”
The cost to experience “Wink World: Portals Into The Infinite” is $18 for adults and $13.50 for children. The price includes ChromaDepth 3-D glasses. Wink World is located at Area15 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
